21 Weeks: More Than Half-Way

Image
As soon as I can talk Philip into taking a photo, I will post my half-way shot. Sable still has me beat in the belly department though I'm only a few months away from catching her. My half-way ultrasound was yesterday. Little Sunshine slept through the whole appointment despite being poked and prodded with a sonogram wand. Philip had to work so I went solo, and the ultrasound tech went above and beyond for me. She showed me lots of body parts and pointed out some neat facts, including the baby's position which is breech at this stage of his/her life. The baby's head sits about one inch above my belly button and its little butt rests on my cervix. Remarkably similar to Sable's in utero days, this baby's heartbeat pounded at 147 bpm and he/she was sucking its thumb. Little Sunshine weighed in at 13 ounces; almost one whole pound!! No wonder my pants are getting tight. It is so amazing to peek into a little human's life before birth.

A Trip to South Florida

Image
Philip had a training session in Pompano Beach so little Sable and I had a good excuse to take a trip to see Lori and Zander. We had a fun-filled two days with them; it was like we had seen each other yesterday instead of six years later.

Antennas

Image
Sable's hair graduated to a length worthy of a bang cutting or pig tails. Since her daddy dreams of Rapunzel-length locks, we resorted the latter although they look more like antennas.

LIBERTYAIR

2008 = a big year for the Ferrara family. A major relocation, a new baby on the way and a new business all in the same year! Thank God that He directs our lives and speaks specifically to us according to our needs. Just one of the above is enough to cause pressure and stress but only by God's supernatural strength do we have enormous peace and confidence to handle all 3 events at once. Check out our website, www.libertyairac.com ; it's not your average HVAC website. Let us know what you think. I'm so proud of Philip, he is doing a great job as a business owner and on top of that, in a new city!
