This is How We Roll in the GNV

I'm very excited to announce that my neighbor and good friend, Raina, joined the blogging world. With two young boys, her blog will be very interesting and funny to follow. Her blog is listed under Friends Near and Far as Shey Family.

Me and My Girls

Mom is in town and took this photo. She got a kick out of my method for taking both girls upstairs simultaneously. We travel the stairs this way daily. Here we are going up for afternoon naptime.

Sable's Easter Weekend Festivities

Image
On Easter Sunday we spent the afternoon at the Buchanan residence, a place we enjoyed as newlyweds and equally enjoy nine years later with our two girls. Sable indulged herself in an egg hunt where Daddy * followed her as her "page." Daddy's Girl (that's an understatement) * Phillie-boy did not approve of the shiny Pooh Bear sneakers but the Sable-girl slips them on incognito. Props to her for, at two years of age, picking out her own shoes and creating a " unique " style of 'primadonna meets playground'. Daddy threatened to throw the shoes away until I assured him they were 100% her choice.

Granddaughters

Question: How does Mom plan a trip to see her grandbabies in the middle of tax season? Answer: Tear herself away from Dad and invite Juliana to join her. For the family members who keep calling for updates, here are some long-awaited photos of the phun. Enjoy!
