Ferrara's in Florida

While driving Ruby Simone home from her 3-hour practice, we talk. It’s usually just her and me now that Sable or Daddy can play with the boys at home.  Last night Ruby was in deep thought as the van tires perused the newly paved 43rd Street. Then out of her soft-spoken yet dualy sassy lips came this monologue, “When I grow up I don’t want to be a construction worker. Actually never because they use a lot of math. They must’ve measured these roads before construction began. I don’t even like math and for that reason, I will stick to my plan of coaching gymnastics.”
