Ferrara's in Florida

I'm helping two moms with whom I worked in NYC before I became a mommy. They founded Heard It From a Mom (HIFAM) and are looking for moms across the country who will try new products for free. If the mom likes the product, she will be asked to relay the product for free to a friend. No surveys to fill out, your email won't be shared, etc. There's a saying, "There's no free lunch" so what's the catch? It's simple--companies realize that word of mouth advertising is more effective and less expensive than traditional TV & print advertising. They are putting their marketing dollars to better use by giving away products to moms who will spread the word. Raina & Spencer invited us to Sun Country, the local gymnastics club, for a play date. Sable and Ruby had a blast. Exactly one year ago, Ruby Simone was tucked deep inside of me with two weeks left in utero. Now I can just strap her on my back, the place she prefers more than the stroller.

With pre-school age children, we do not loathe the end of summer. Every day is just like the next, and we're still enjoying the pool but lately we have it all to ourselves.
