17 Months & Planning For Retirement

Joel turned 17 months on Aunt Holly's birthday.  And I'm the one planning for early retirement; that is, for 2013. I think between Sable and Joel, I will be out of a job.  Sable is a little mom and very good at it for a 5-year-old.  She's got it together.  And Joel, well, he thinks he can do everything INDEPENDENTLY of anyone.  For example, last week alone he (1) climbed to the sink with a clean cup and tried to fill it with water, (2) walked up to the toilet and peed right "next" to it, and the usual (3) refusing help when brushing his teeth, (4) hunger strikes unless he holds his own fork, and there are too many more to mention right now.   It won't be a full retirement as some of my duties must remain like pool life guard cuddler laundry folder van driver (albeit Sable would oblige to all of the above if paid for in M&Ms and if permitted by law) Saturday Morning Starbucks Breakfast as a Family More Please! Summer in the Sunshine State

I'm officially a mom of three young children hence the slowing down of blog posts.  This blog represents my efforts of a virtual photo album for my childrento enjoy with not only Daddy and Mommy but also with their own children one day.  Three children (to be quite honest, ONE ONE YEAR OLD) leaves me two lifestyle choices during his waking moments (1) baby body guard, entertainer, wrestling partner, Lego-building partner, banana peeler or (2) blogger, phone talker, thinker, etc.  Joel does keep me doing one thing I like; that is, running.  I chase him up the stairs, down the stairs, into the streets, out the back door, and his most favorite game of chase:  around and around and around the pool day after day after day.  He and I might be hot and sweaty but we have strong legs and nice tans.
