Sable's Birthday Party

Image
Sable planned her birthday party -- she wrote all of the invitations, mailed them out, received RSVPs, planned the menu, games and invitation list.  Mommy made meatballs and spaghetti with "Texas Toast" (purchased in the freezer section of Publix as she instructed me :), played Twister and Pin the Scrunchie on Kytra Hunter (a UF gymnast) as she wasn't keen on the traditional "Pin the Tail on the Donkey". Her invitation list included the following: Taylor family, Chapov family, Valencia and Helga, ages 11 to 51.  When I asked her if she would like to invite any friends her age, her response was priceless: "Mommy, these are my friends."  Miss Andrea makes cakes like Mimi.  So pretty! Princess Sable donning tiara and new dress with Miss Helga Sable with one of her fave friends, Miss Valencia Sarah, Sable, Boudreaux and piggy bank, and Rebekah Cake & Ice Cream Sweet Four Year Old Feet patiently waiting for his cake...

Boudreaux Ferrara

Our new family member originates from the canus lupus species.  We welcomed Boudreaux St. Pierre Minacapelli Ferrara at a mere 13 weeks of age.  Immediate love gushed out of our children, and their arms, wide open, seemingly always await the dog with cuddles. Big sis reading the "rules for Frenchies" to the family The breeder sent us with 8 pages of notes on caring for this French bulldog breed. Ruby Simone reading to Joel during school whilst "training" Boudreaux to be her baby Best buds sharing Spider Man sheets on the couch Too tired to make it up the stairs (and we thought the dog would be worn out by the kids) Imaginative play: Firefighter "Philip John" with his "Firefighter Dog" Sable & Boudreaux in a training session with Mr. Pepe (from Animal Planet) Sable's turn Joel reading to Boudreaux (Joel gave his white puppy, Snowflake, to Boudreaux. It is one of Boudreaux's favorites) Nappi...

Firefighter Philip John (He has renamed himself) Jaws of Life are a weekly, if not daily, topic in Joel's life. Firefighter Sean pulled them off the truck so Joel could handle them.
