Santa is Real—

to James Richard. Though we have never discussed Santa with James, we have watched a handful of Christmas movies. Also, James’ preferred morning movie is The Grinch. I had a hunch that he believed in Santa when he kept asking a fat, white bearded man with a red sweater for specific gifts. We were at the William and Mary College Barnes and Noble in Williamsburg, so it was quite funny to see James’ boldness. But hey, that’s what the movies show—bold children approaching Santa in malls, toy stores, and just about everywhere. Today at church he told a man, “Santa is going to bring my a choo choo train for Christmas.”  We are going with it. Three year old imaginations make Christmas wonderful.
