Seven Years Ago...

we received an incredible gift from the Lord of Sable Yukari Ferrara.  She turned our world inside out and upside down, and our hearts enlarged with love the instant she was born.

I resigned a nearly-dream-job in the Big Apple for full-time motherhood, traded pretty clothes for spit-up stained nursing tanks, stilettos for bare feet, date nights for play dates, restful sleep for a migraine-inducing caffeine habit, two adult bosses for one demanding 7-pound infant boss, a 50-hour work week with paid vacations for a 24/7/365 work week with "spontaneous" 3am wake-up calls...and it was worth giving up all of it to invest in the life of a child.


HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BIG SEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL, SABLE YUKARI!

Psalm 127:3 "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
