James’ Homeschool Update

 Springtime in FL is glorious. After we finish seat work and reading, James spends the day outdoors. 

Activities include horseback (first time jumping this week!), swim class, Rock climbing class (indoors), soccer twice a week and baseball twice a week, gardening and learning basic botany, as well as his favorite hobbies of fort building, bike riding, Legos and basketball in the driveway. Legos usually stay in the playroom but a special handful travel with him in the car, to ball games and even church.

He likes people and people like him, so he has a lot of friends across all ages. His buddies that he frequently sees weekly are Major, Daniel, Judah and Sherman (Judah’s dad). Sean (Major’s dad) often swings by on his golf cart and includes James for pitch and catch or playing fetch with their family’s black lab. 

I love being James’ mom! We are having the best time together, and it’s extra special because our 3 teens spend more and more time away from home with their academics and extra curriculars.
